Web of Falsity

Hey soul, place not your trust

in the hands of the known or unknown,

Unaware of the seeds of deceit sown.

Do not blindly follow with your eyes shut and mind slept,

Trusting in promises glittering so bright,

but trapped in a web of false care.

The smiles, the warmth all seem so real,

yet beneath the surface, a coiled serpent conceals, waiting to strike!

The venomous sting, oh, so sharp,

Leaves lasting wounds filled with fear,

Unaware of the truth in other's eyes.

Trust is divine and a precious art,

but it's a gamble, a deadly play in a world

of deceitful intent,

Leading to a treacherous route where a

trap of dagger's blade is carefully laid,

The signs seem louder and clearer if the

eyes and mind are wide awake...

Oh, how swiftly fortunes change,

and consequences range when trust is misplaced!

For in the maze of hearts, lies the danger

of trust,

A fleeting joy, a cruel thief that which leaves

a void beneath the sky!
